mattx Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Can't get over how different the area around the driver is. MP4-26 Reveal / Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Edited February 4, 2011 by mattx
aerospacemango Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 It looks pretty cool, to be honest..... Let's just hope that it can give Jenson and Lewis a shot at another title.
timbo343 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Yeah, the side pods are very different. I thought they might have gone for a Black/red look as their new team wear is now that colour. Maybe that is something they are working on next year. In testing, although it was the MP4-25, they were testing the down force to make sure they had got the setup right for the tyres then i think they will be concentrating on the minor details. Haha, "What do you like about the car?" Buttons response: "Its shinney" Edited February 4, 2011 by timbo343
teejay Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Does look good :-) The Renault looks to have the innovation of the season with it's exhausts running forward to the front of the side pods. From the speed Kubica was showing in testing yesterday it seems to be working.
JHeaton Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Looks pretty interesting. The McLaren, Renault and Williams cars are definitely very interesting-looking this year and I can't wait to see how each of their radical approaches works out.
synaesthesia Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Absolutely stunning car and definitely the one that made me go "wow" when it was unveiled. Can't wait to see it on track and hope it performs as good as it looks. The front exit exhausts do have drawbacks as well as the obvious benefits but so far the practice results seem to be doing the talking there. But then again, practice is never quite as it seems
CAM Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 This is fun! Right Click for Full Screen Arrow keys to drive the car Run over the text to send them flying (and sometimes the car too if you angle it right)
