Gatt Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Anyone got a working ISO file of this as the one I have (or have tried to D/L from the board) is FUBAR
phantomphan Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Anyone got a working ISO file of this as the one I have (or have tried to D/L from the board) is FUBAR Not sure what FUBAR is, but I downloaded this image from a link on another post in this forum and it seems to work. I say seems to work, 'cos I havn't managed to install LNM yet, but I think it is a problem with my slipstreamed w2k3 plus SP 1 image rather than the LNM ISO. http://www.lancsngfl.ac.uk/software/MSLNM.zip Good Luck Phan
Geoff Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Not sure what FUBAR is F**ked up beyond all recognition.
OutToLunch Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Bit of a pain that ISO! If I remember rightly, didn't matter how many times I downloaded it, it wasn't having any of it. Quick route if you already have the ISO downloaded and not deleted it out of frustration is to download and install IsoBuster, load up the ISO image in it, then extract it to BIN/CUE and burn those instead. Seemed to do the trick for me!
plexer Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Wasn't it the case the nero would burn it correctly but some other software wouldn't? Ben
phantomphan Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Not sure what FUBAR is F**ked up beyond all recognition. AhHa! Seems to describe my attempts to install LNM!! I downloaded this ISO and then simply burnt in Nero using "Burn Image to Disc" and as I said, it appears to work. Phan
Gatt Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 This is the ISO i've downloaded, although i can read it in WinISO i get an error about it not being a valid boot disk (either in VM or if burnt to a CD via Nero)
phantomphan Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Sorry, can't help you then. I used this one and it worked fine. I can boot from the disk and begin the install of LNM from it. I am using Nero Express 6 and via 'Nero StartSmart', 'Copy and Backup', then 'Burn Image to Disc' it worked first time. I do not mean to be patronising by explaining my method, just trying to help Phan
