I was just wondering how many of you guys out there are:

1. Using SKillspace successfully

2. Have got it but don't use it

3. Stopped using it and have gone or looking elsewhere.

We currently fall into category 2 for a number of reasons... Just wondered about other peoples experiences.

We did have it through our LEA but dropped it as amongst other things, support was rubbish, bugs were never fixed and overall the usability was aimed more at primary schools that secondary imho.

Staff did not like it - and this meant it was just never used. In the end we dropped it and went with our own internal Moodle system which I have to say has been far more widely used than the Skillspace one ever was.

Siuko - Heheh, I wish I was in that category. Its nice to know that others have had the same experience. Looking at the Forum it seems like Moodle is going to be most worth the 'investment'. I've been playing with Google Apps and Live@Edu and think that a combination of systems may end up ticking the boxes. Although the boxes have not yet been fully defined which is certainly part of the problem.
