azaer Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 hi all need help with the tablet pc tour i need to stop it stating for all users i have look on the microsoft web site ( How to Suppress the Windows Tour Prompt in Windows XP ) and is still pops up for all users can eney one help
X-13 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) That walkthrough seems fine to me... Did you add/edit [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Tour\] "RunCount"=0 If that doesn't work, you're pretty much going to have to do it manually for each user. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER] instead of [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE] Also... It's anyone. Not "eney one" Edited February 2, 2011 by X-13 added another option.
azaer Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 Yer have did that too no joy and thers up to 1400 users that may uses the devise so it looks like thay all get to take a tour fun for them ps i have dyslexia so my spelling is crap
