X-13 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Today, whenever I log into a computer, I'm getting an error saying sdig1npi.dll is missing. I have no idea what this is for and the error has never come up before. There has been no software or hardware changes whatsoever so it can't be from a bad install. I searched on google for it, but there's literally nothing about it.
AngryTechnician Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Fire up Autoruns and see if anything catches your eye? That and run a full virus scan. Randomly named .dlls are a red flag in my book.
X-13 Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 Randomly named DLLs I can find worry me more than the ones that are missing. I have a feeling I'm going to have to run the AV scan from the server, considering that I get it at login from every computer on the network.
witch Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 npi.dll comes up as a virus or malware - I think you might have an infection
