GPO Automatic updates direct to MS (not WSUS) fails.

I have a school that is just to small to require WSUS running on the server but I wanted to control the updates.

 

I have set up a policy to download and install updates at a time but not to reboot the pcs and applied this to some test computers in an OU.

 

On the computers the policy does apply and the windows options are set to the same as the server and greyed out but nothing downloads.

 

I can go in and manually do it.

 

Any pointers.
