Transferring from 1.0

Hi folks, I had to re-register as I'd forgotten all my details since I was last here! I'm loving the new template, great job. I'm still on 1.0 and would love to update our site to the new option. I'm currently on maternity leave and shouldn't really be doing any work for school! I was therefore wondering how big of a job it would be to update and transfer everything over? Is there an easy way to do it? I am using docman to display work done by classes, is there an easy way to bring this in, or is there an even better add-on I can use?
