ctaylor Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Hi All, We produce individual reports and export them to a shared area so staff can open/view/print etc. Where should I export them to, in order that they become a linked document and can be accessed through the pupil in SIMS? I can only find documentation on how to do this on an individual basis. I believe they must be stored on the DMS but I'm unsure. Could someone help me? Thanks
LosOjos Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Hi ctaylor, and welcome to EduGeek To bulk upload Individual Reports in SIMS, you need to go in to the Individual Report screen, select all the students you would like to upload (just as you would if you were going to print or export them), then on the toolbar to the right hand side of the 'Export' button is an 'Upload' button. Press that and SIMS will go away and upload them to the DMS for you and automatically link them to the correct students. If you want to update the documents at a later date, just run the upload again and SIMS will overwrite the old version (so long as it's the same Individual Report template). BTW, it can take a hell of a long time to run, I tend to set it running on a whole year group just before I leave work and let it run overnight.
Sivadam Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 You can now also Publish them to SLG as either Word Doc or JPG!
