Rawns Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) I thought I'd spin this of another thread for a more "dedicated" area regarding WoW, Edugeek & Alts. I finally reactivated my WoW account after 2 years last night and have totally forgotten how to play my lock (lvl 71)! It's changed so much I was all over the shop with it! Think I need to read up on them again to get to grips with all the changes. Anyway, I have rolled a new alt purely for casual play and thought I'd post the details so if anyone else wanted to join, they could. I've rolled a Worgen Hunter on the Agamaggan realm (It's PvP) - It was a recommended server and there initially seems to be plenty of peeps on there. (I'm only lvl 4 so if anyone thinks there is a better realm, feel free to suggest and I can easily delete ad re-roll on the new realm). I guess people can roll Alliance or Horde on that server if they wish (it may encourage a bit of friendly rivalry) and if there are enough people, we can fire up an Edugeek WoW guild. My characters name is Varf. Thinking about it, that's a rather rubbish name! Edited January 12, 2011 by Rawns
bladedanny Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm happy to roll an alt on that server will be probably be a worgen but not sure what class, think I might try a healer as I normally stick to DPS. I'll post my character name once created.
linuxgirlie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I am also happy to roll an alt on that server. You only need 4 chars now and you can make a guild, so only one more. As it's non-rp we should be able to call the guild 'edugeek' as well. ^^ Damn it, im going worgen as well.....we might end up with a slight worgen overload But I will be rolling a druid healer as I know how to play that as it is my main.
Rawns Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Awesome stuff. I usually play Horde but fancied a change, plus the Worgen look like quite a cool race to play as.
linuxgirlie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Yeah me too, all my chars are horde. Well having an early lunch @work(never have time to have lunch at lunchtime...ahh the joys of the job:)), so just created my char, her name is Joannix, and she is a Worgen Druid on Agamaggan.
Rawns Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Learning curve for me, never rolled a hunter before, but wanted a change from my Lock. I'll add you to my friends list later. The worlds changed so much since I last played so no idea where the guild master is either!
bladedanny Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 The worgen starting zone is awesome, best of the lot imo. I'm either going to go Holy Priest or Mage, dunno which spec though.
CAM Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Hmm I have a 25 Orc Rogue on there. Very strong Horde bias on that server. I also have a 40 Draeni Priest I could add to the guild, though play time is limited as my friend has his 85 Horde's on Aggamagan and me on RealID...
Rawns Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 I thought you could not have a horde and alliance character on one server?
bladedanny Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Created my worgen mage, Silgan on Agamaggan
linuxgirlie Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I thought you could not have a horde and alliance character on one server? This is a new rule and has been changed so yes you can have Ally and Horde on the same server.
Rawns Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 @Linuxgirlie - Fail on my part. I visited my trainer and learnt "Command Pet" and now have my pet command bar!
