chrisjako Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Does anyone have an MSI install of KLite? We have a policy in place which blocks students playing EXE's from drives other certain folders in C:\ Flipcams are being used now and they need to run the EXE off the flipcam but the policy is blocking them, you can still view the files by right clicking and exploring the flipcam drive but the MP4 files need klite or something other to view them. Would like to know how ppl are getting around this issue without manually going round each PC and installing Klite or VLC??
JamesG Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 To view videos on the Flip itself you dont have to run the software. Once the Flip is in put inside USB port it should create a new drive in My Computer, click on the new drive then follow the folders until you can access the videos directly and just play them.

Thats all well and good but if the pc doesn't have the codec/flip software installed it's not going to be able to play them back or edit them. Ben
