Trouble installing the licence key for ComicLife

Hi,

 

I've got the ComicLife msi and it's happily installing via a GPO but I can't get the licence key to be accepted and just wondered if anyone else had done it and if so how?

 

Currently, I've exported the key from a machine that has it installed and then have added the following batch script to the logon script for the machines I would like it on :

 

start c:\windows\regedit.exe /s \\servername\netlogon\comiclifelicence.reg

 

Any ideas?

Hi, have you emailed plasq to get the instructions for exporting/importing reg settings for Comic Life? Gives detailed instructions that were pretty good. If you pm me I can help a bit more.

 

I think I edited the MSI using ORCA to manually set the license registry settings, so didn't need to edit the registry with a .reg file.

 

However, to update the registry on XP logon script, I use:

 

call regedit /S your_reg_file.reg
