excel 2007 dropdown box select by typing first letter

looking at a way to make a dropdown list in excel be able to type first letter of item and it jump down as list is long and it would save loads of time does anyone know how to do this??

have a look in the office button>excel options>edit custom lists

no i can create drop downs what i need is the facility to type the letters of the entry in list and have cursor move down to that section
