speckytecky Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) I'm trying to print a 2 page athletics club register out of MS Excel 2007. The first page is fine - has, header, the column heads and all expected records but the 2nd page has the header the colums heads are missing and for some reason the details from line 4 is repeated as the first row. When I go to Page Setup / Sheet / Print Area, Print Tiles Rows to Repeat at Top and Columns to Repeat to the Left are not accessible? Edited December 23, 2010 by speckytecky Solved
elsiegee40 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Try going into print preview and then going to setup from there. I've never used 2007 - but sometimes have found in 2003 that you can do different things in setup depending on how you access it. 1
speckytecky Posted December 23, 2010 Author Posted December 23, 2010 Yep that was sort of it - thanks elsiegood. I was accessing it from Print Preview but looking at your reply got me to thinking there must be another way. Page layout / Print Tiles gave me the same as from Print Preview but this time allowing me to select the row to be repeated. Try going into print preview and then going to setup from there. It shouldn't matter how you get to the Page Setup, you should always get the same options... I know, I'm being naive * sigh *

elsiegee40 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 This is Microsoft we are talking about, right ? I know, I have moments of complete idiocy when I forget the bloomin' obvious. Like when the wireless on son's xbox wouldn't work; I should have realised that I needed to connect with a wire and download every single update going before trying to use the darn thing. It's M$; why would it work straight out of the box?!
speckytecky Posted December 23, 2010 Author Posted December 23, 2010 Them was greyed out in print preview my old beauty, when it's something you don't regularly encounter and the little grey cells are toward the older end help is more often needed. You'd have thought they'd have sorted this by now. It shouldn't matter how you get to the Page Setup, you should always get the same options... I know, I'm being naive * sigh *
