How the 'eck do i add a bit of code into an article?

 

Bascially i want to display a banner and its one of those "Copy the code below and paste it in" thingymebobs....

 

The only way i can see of adding any sort of code is an HTML button.

There's a module you can get called mod_php... just add an instance of this with the code in you require... it's what I did to add the Google Map to my site.

You could try this:

 

Your default Joomla editor (tinyMCE) will strip

 

Go to Extensions>Plugins>editors>TinyMCE and on the right hand side set...

 

Code Cleanup on Startup: Off

Code cleanup on save: Never

Do not clean HTML entities: Yes

 

....Save.
