Dukey Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 have a problem when i try and boot from the cd it loads the operating system from the cd but then gives me the error. File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe Status: 0xc00035a Info: Attempting to load 64-bit application, However this CPU is not compatable with 64-bit Application But the thing is its a x32/x64 combined but it only seems to want to load the x64 how do i get it to only boot the x32 install??
techyphil Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 As far as I'm aware, they are separate DVD's installations. I might be wrong though. If they did make a DVD with multiple installs then surely they'd add the option to install 64bit a bit further on in the install. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. 1
jamesfed Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Could you let us know what Model number your CPU is? Also have you had a look through your BIOS - there maybe some weird setting in there which needs to be enabled for 64bit to work. 1
