Dos_Box Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I got my latest Technet discs through yesterday, and there it was. The vista disc. No product key though. For those who don't know, when you get a Technet+ subscription you also get evaluation (full and working) copies of almost all of Microsofts catalog. When they relese a new product you get the disc and a serial number. Vista came without a serial number and a little tag on the disc says 'Requires serial number'. WTF!! Are they actually saying that I should 'buy' a copy to evaluate? Has anyone else had this arrive yesterday, and if so, did you get a serial number?
Stefletch Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Same here, "Poduct Key Required" on the disc.
Quackers Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 same here to and i got my discs over a week ago. Never spotted that.

mattx Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Why don't you go to your account on the web site and click on your subscriptions and get your key from there ? It will allow you to install it on 5 PCs [ mine did ] Had mine installed since November..... [ downloaded it ] http://www.microsoft.eu.subservices.com/technet/

Where ya do that at? Remember peeps, you get a 4 month trial (with windows updates and validation passing for the MS site) before you need to buy/activate.
