Chris_in_notts Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 hiya how old is the DDR3 and how come your selling it?
roty80 Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 hiya how old is the DDR3 and how come your selling it? I bought it at the start of the year but only used it for a few days. I used one of those memory compatibility checkers to check it with my motherboard. It said it was compatible so I bought it but kept getting BSOD's. I eventually found some memory test results on one of the mobo manufacturers' (MSI) foreign sites and it said the memory had been tested and wasn't compatible. So got stuck with £100 worth of DDR3. It was when my mobo was new out so didn't find out until it had been out a while.
