[sims] SIMS FMS - Borland Database Engine

Hi,

 

I'm trying to install SIMS FMS on an XP workstation by running the FMSApplicationsetup.exe

 

But once installed, I get a Borland Database Error. Seems I need an installer for this though..

Does anyone know where I can download the BDE? We don't have the CD for FMS so can't take it from there

 

The council can't get in to us until Thursday - which means we've been without FMS over a week.

 

Can anyone help?

There should be a folder in the S:\SIMS\ - think its called WSSETUP or something..

Also, doesn't SIMSInfrastructureSetup install BDE as well

 

(btw, I'm assuming you have SIMS if you are using FMS...)

It all runs from the same .exe that part

It's that old chesnut - I used to forget it all the time.

I scripted the install of FMS/native client so I never have to remember to do that again

Run Setups\FMS\FMSInst.exe instead and it will install all you need.
