round2it Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) odd issue here guys a member of staff (SLT) has married and needed the surname changing for email etc we use outlook web access and outlook 2003 exchange 2003 changed name in AD to what it should be using the general tab of the user added new smtp email address alias set as primary this is where the problem is Sending email from Outlook the name is working as it should but when the user sends an email using outlook web access the recipient sees the users old name. what have i missed here i really need some help on this one quite urgent thanks in advance Edited November 11, 2010 by round2it
mb2k01 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Rather than changing details on the general tab, I would normally do it by right-clicking and renaming the user. Can you confirm that you changed the first/last name AND display name in the general tab? If so, can you tell me if you have x.400 properties on the user? Failing that, potentially the GAL may not be replicating? 1
