WithoutMotive Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi guys, I'm either lazy, frustrated, stupid or all three but I've searched for an hour now. Can someone see if they can find a Windows 2000/XP/Vista driver for this Belkin ethernet adapter? I'm afraid the picture show everything the adapter has on it. No labels or anything. Thanks :-)
TopBanana Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 do you have a pic of the opposite side as there is usualy a white label with the model and version number ?
K.C.Leblanc Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Have you tried plugging it in and then running windows update via internet explorer. This sometimes will find drivers. If not I'd peel the Belkin sticker off and see if there's a generic chip underneath.
SYNACK Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 If you install it into a machine what hardware ids does it report under the details page of the unknowen device that shows up in device manager. Googleing these will probably get you a result. EDIT: Oh and plus one to the above, if it is in a machine that already has a network connection then you can use the update driver wizard and tell it to search online, quite often it will be able to find it from the Windows Update catalogue. 1

Ahh, connecting to windows update might be an issue without a working network card.

Chuck it in a pc with a working NIC and use that to grab the driver, you should then know what it is and you can look it up, download it and put it on the cardless one.
