I'm looking to find out what hardware those of you running Eclipse.net have it running on and what performance is like. We're looking to move to this and I need to price up some kit to run it on.

I don't see why not - ours is used by two pc's in the library with the Web - parts accessible by everyone from outside school aswell as inside on a machine with less processor capacity then that.

We are just about to make the Jump from Eclipse 2 too eclipse.net going to install on a Intel Xeon [email protected] with 4.00GB RAM. Upgraded to the Staff PC's in LRC to dual core Pentiums with 2GB RAM just waiting for a SQL server to be upgraded to 2008 should be this week sometime.

As a side note, can you convert from Eclipse2 to Eclipse.net easily?

 

Yeah if I remember rightly, you can. I am sure I did it for 1 of the schools I used to work for. Think there is an upgrade section after the installation of Eclipse.net
