[imiddleton25]

Just got a copy of new firmware from Matthew at Axel (FK55.TCP.XX.0922c.STD.10307)

its made a huge difference to the graphics quality running over ICA

I am very impressed and the users that i gave it to also said its great. so thumbs up

thanks

Thanks imiddleton25

In fact this new f/w increases performance on any ICA based connection (XenApp, XenDesktop, etc) by a factor of between 2x and 4x depending on the app. (also significantly reduces bandwidth so its a double win with no downside)

As the M80 was one of the fastest terminals "out there" before - this should put it right at the top !

The same new f/w contains RemoteApp and a VNC server for remote control.

Firmware upgrades are free and take a few seconds to load (YouTube - Axel thin client technical support download firmware)

Is currently Beta firmware so not on our website - but anyone wishing to test please get in touch (for either just the f/w file - or a preloaded terminal)
