Wow, I wonder if there is anyway I could get this to my S African school. I bought them some when I was there in February but this would keep them going for years.

Do they have a stack of credit cards on demand to punch out of then, because punching out of paper wouldn't work

I'm sure they will find something, this is a place where kids make steerable model cars with suspension from some old wire and a pair of pliers.

Amazing....... yet they can't make their own plectrums and need a device to do it

They can, and they do, but sometimes it's nice to have nice things. Even if you live in a tin shack.

Thank you. I've had my bad moments, but recently got over a pretty serious illness and I'm back to who I want to be. The people I know in SA are fantastic, they include, Africans (Zulu, Xhoso, Basotho and Zimbawian), Afrikaaners and Brits. No one there expects anything fom anyone, they get on with life and smile a hell of a lot. Education is a priviledge not a right and parents and children value it above posessions. I feel extremely lucky to have them as friends.

I ordered one 3 weeks ago asking for it to be delivered to a school in S africa but so far no show. Not sure what to do, their reply was a bit disinterested, so i'm reluctant to give them any more money for another try.

I'd leave it a bit longer yet - I've had a few things coming from the states taking a while, I think their customs are being a bit overzealous so slowing everything down.

It's a UK company delivering to SA. I know it can be slow and I'd give it a bit longer before complaining.
