eee pc 901 Support DVD

Hey all!

 

first of all i'm not sure how i stand on this legally/license wise so just slap me if it's not possible but...

 

Can anyone help me, we've acquired a bunch of Eee PC 901's (XP Version) but there's no recovery DVD's with them with the XP image and drivers etc. I know you can download all the drivers from the ASUS website but not a copy of the windows XP Home ULCPC (for obvious reasons) does anyone have a copy of one of these recovery DVD's they could send me an .iso or a copy?

edit: alternatively does the license cover installing standard XP home on them? The Xp sticker on the back says XP Home Edition ULCPC i'm not sure if these versions differ?

I think i have an iso of this, let me look into it, if there is no licensing issues i can upload it to one of our web servers. Can any see a problem with the licensing? Edited November 3, 2010 by ezzauk

Hi ya, I have sent you over a PM with the link, im not sure if the iso is bootable, if not you can extract the files from inside, there is a ghost image with the restore.

This is an eight year old thread. The chances of this link still being active are pretty small. The user in question also hasn't posted here since 2014 so they're probably not going to see this message either.
