Hightower Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Getting my new phone tomorrow, and therefore will be selling my G1. It's 17 months old but in good nick. Couple of tiny marks but used a screen protector for its life so the screen is spot on. Currently it's running a Cyanogen release of the Android OS, but I will flash back to the original OS if the buyer requires. I don't know if I have the box (have to check), but I'm not looking to rob anyone. If anyone can beat what CEX will offer me then you are on, otherwise I'll just take it to CEX. (Last time I checked I think it was around £70-£80 they offered)
Hightower Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 If anyone can give me £70 (plus P&P) I'll take it.

michaelf Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I must say it's a very good price. This may seem like a stupid question given the title but is this still locked to T-Mobile or has it been unlocked?

This may seem like a stupid question given the title but is this still locked to T-Mobile or has it been unlocked? Yeah, it's still locked down to the network (T-Mobile). From my Google searches it doesn't seem very hard to unlock the phone, but it's not something I want to risk so will leave that up to the buyer. Like I also said, it's got a Cyanogen ROM on, but I can easily turn that back to factory if needs be.

Hightower Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 whats Cyanogen ROM all about fella ? It's a rooted ROM with a few extra features basically. The only reason I installed it was so that I could install apps to the SD card - this isn't normally available on a G1 as it's still the 1.6 firmware.
TopBanana Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Sold for a measly £70. lol @ measly £70 , that was your asking price fella lol
