mac_shinobi Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Never touched cisco equipment and at work we have these 1130 AG Cisco wifi access points - need a step by step on how to setup a master and a client access point as no idea what the difference is and how it all works I mean I have configured home type access points / routers but nothing to this extent - completely different kettle of fish at least with the setup / config etc Anyone know any sites with a step by step with screen grabs
ssiruuk2 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 We use these APs at work, do you still need help with this? PM me if you do and ill guide you through it. When you say mater and client are you talking about wds?
moraygreig Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 are you setting these up as autonomous or lightweight access points?
mac_shinobi Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Not sure what the difference is, total n00b, sorry
moraygreig Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 if you haven’t I'd have a look at this doc Quick Start Guide Cisco Aironet 1130AG Access Point [Cisco Aironet 1130 AG Series] - Cisco Systems Are you using them by them self or managed via 4400 series controller?
