Installing windows pon Unpartitioned space - NTFS file System

Right, i am trying to install windows on the unpartitioned space of the mac HD, using NTFS File system. It was originally done but then it has now come up with errors saying Disk Read Error.

 

Now when i try and install it, it just hangs and doesn't go past the 0% mark at all, i have been waiting for like 30-40 minutes and ABSOLUTELY nothing has happened, is this just the MAC being a MAC or??? I am going to try NTFS File System (Quick) to see if that does it but i don't normally like to use formating quick option!

 

If anyone has had the same problem please let me know or if someone knows what the problem is then yeah reply also

Does Boot Camp not do this process for you? I think that gives you the drivers to enable a Windows install on an Intel mac.
