Set Folder/File Permissions via Remote Desktop

Hi guys,

 

Got a folder in OSX that I need to give read only access (including all folders/files in the folder) to all our students.

 

Obviously I can set this manually but want to send a UNIX script via remote desktop if possible, and I am obviously too stupid to work it out for myself.

 

Please help!
