Fatmas Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I must say, before playing Halo Reach I was very insistent it would be the same as Halo 3/ODST and I wouldn't be wasting £40 on it. My girlfriend bought it for birthday and in my opinion it's very impressive. I was a big fan of the multiplayer side from the previous two games and bungie seem to have taken everything good from them and improved it. The armour power ups are good fun and the new game types mean a round doesn't drag on as it sometimes did in previous games. Multiplayer looks amazing and even on my poor 5mbps Sky ADSL line I don't get any lag and everything runs smoothly. If you like Halo, buy this game now. Even if it's just for the multiplayer.

ZeroHour Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Basically this years Autumn update has an improved codec for mics on xbox live and uses a much higher bit rate and codec so sound quality should be excellent (sometimes too excellent, damn kiddies....) as MS said that most have better BB now. Not sure when its going live (if its not already) but it will be soon.

Tyiell Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I agree this game is awesome. Completed the campaign on Legendary now. Time for some online Firefight methinks. Definitley liking the DMR, the armour upgrades and the various firefight modes (gruntpocalypse is fun!)

Quite pleased as I have now opened up Delta on Special Ops - [ thanks nephilim !! ] I was quite pleased with myself yesterday - did 2 stars on Suspension. And take it from me, I'm crap.
