Nortel 450-24T

I have just aquired a Nortel 450-24T switch but cant get into the console,

 

I have my two RJ-45 to DB-9 connectors plugged in, one in the PC and one in the switch and use a straight through cale but cant get into the console at all, I am using Hyper Terminal PE on Win 2003.

 

 

Any body have any ideas ? - this switch does definately work!
