Editing Google Maps locations

Our schools have been put on google maps by god knows who and the information is wrong!

 

How on earth do you remove or edit the information as every option is greyed out?

Contact Google, I belive there is a reporting link on Google Maps you can use. Explain the situation and it should get sorted out.

Ok, thanks seems silly there is no edit function!

It's probably to stop spam edits, if anybody could edit anything on Google maps all hell would break loose.

But on the flip side, getting the information right in the first place would be even better hehe

I think the problem can be that when putting a place marker in the X has to be used and not the icon. Depending on the amount you are zoomed out this could be a street or so out when placing it.

 

Probably put on by some 'well meaning' parent.
