Of course none of that bears any relation whatsoever to a "cunning plan" like this:

 

1) Let's make a calculatedly controversial video..

2) ..with a pre-arranged plan to withdraw it on Day One[tm]..

3) ..and it might just go "viral", cause a fuss in the media, and we'll get 100x the attention... Bingo!

 

The slight irony for me is that I think the root cause of this and many other troublesome issues, is global population count.
