jumpinjamez Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I need some SQL training as i need to use it pretty soon. Funding is available to me but i do not fancy the Microsoft MOC courses as they are poor value i could just buy the book but prefer tutor led training. any ideas?
alan-d Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Try Neos IT training in Worcester if it's not too far from you. http://www.neos-it-training.com/crs_sqlserver.php - ring them for a quote - the cost is usually around half of that shown on the web site for educational establishments.
mrforgetful Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I know this isn't instead of the training but could be useful http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=558F3ECE-6509-45E9-8D60-25175848A8B7&displaylang=en Free, you can download a preconfigured Windows Server 2003 running SQL 2005 Server to have a look at. You'll beed Virtual Server or Virtual PC, both of which are also free from the Microsoft website.
