Acer Aspire One - Netbook

Hi Chaps

 

This might not be in the right area and i apologies if its not

 

However - some little ......... has locked out the Notebook at bios level with a Hard drive password - Re:flashed the bios and ive got past the bios password - however its asking for a Hard Drive master password...... anyone shed some light on this? or found a work around without replacing the HDD?

Think you're gonna need a new HDD if you can't fathom the password. If you could crack the HDD password then there's not much point in having that feature is there?

I'm sure you have to contact Acer directly for info on how to remove a HD password and show proof of purchase of course
