Office 2003 Publisher use makes PC crash

Got a strange one going here. A suite of XP Pro Fijitsu Esprimos with MS Office 2003 installed. Everything runs fine on all the suite except one PC which on students attempting to run Publisher crashes that workstation.

 

I have carried out a complete removal reboot and fresh install but the problem persists?

Have you run a full ram test with something like memtest86 and made sure that options like Non Execute Bit (NX) support are turned on in the bios. It could be hitting a busted bit of memory each time and going off into the weeds each time. Are the machines XP SP3?
