Install RMMC for CC4 on a workstation?

How do I grant access or install RMMC on a workstation so the system admin can access it from there?

You'll need to assign the RM Management Console product to the workstation you want to access the RMMC on.

You just need to assign it to a workstation like you would any other package.

 

It's in the "All products" area of the Software in RMMC rather than the "All Packages".

By the fact that it's a Product and not a Package?

 

Took me a while to remember that distinction too!

Yea. I remember them saying a product is a group of packages etc. but it just didn't occur to me that RMMC was a pruduct! I looked in the reference book they give you at the course and that just said 'add a shortcut' so I popped the shortcut into a new program set and assigned it to the proper group and got nothing. Thanks for your help

You won't need to create any shortcuts once it's assigned, it'll be on t'desktop.
