cookie_monster Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I need a new printer for home, it doesn't need to be anything special. I don't think I need color so I might go for a laser unless someone knows of an inkjet bargain. I don't really want to pay more than £50-70 but i'd like to avoid sky high cartridge costs. Suggestions? Cheers.
Haptic Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I strongly recco a Brother HL-2150(N) Solid units, small footprint...the TN-2120 toners carry more ink than a Humboldt and suck less : 2,500 pages (esp with lower dpi) Joe
machin05 Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Aren't PC World doing a fairly cheap colour Kodak printer, with dirt cheap consumables? I keep seeing adverts for it on TV. I think this it - KODAK ESP 3250 Multifunction Inkjet Printer at cheap prices | PC World

contink Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 If you don't want colour get a mono laser and forget you even heard of Inkjets... Also, I'd recommend steering clear of Kodak... I've recently had to deal with my mothers photo printer and it was just the worst piece of printer hardware I've come across (which is saying something!).
