[ms office - 2010] Office 2010 - Cant edit attachment and resend without saving to PC first

Hi,

 

Is there any way to open an attachment in outlook 2010, edit it and resend the edited version without saving it to your PC first? This functionality was available in 2007 but I cant get it to work with 2010.

had same problem.

hunted around for almost 1.5 hours then figured it out.

open message, go to "actions" in the move ribbon? and select edit message. open your attachment, edit how you want, close attachment, save changes, save email, saving changes.
