Edu-IT Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 If you use EMF and find that it's running slowly, in comparison to how it did back in June, then please do post here. I'm aware of why it's running like a snail, just trying to see how you're all finding it now.
sparkeh Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Interesting. Very slow to login or switch between the main tabs, but lightning quick on the sub sections.
Edu-IT Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Sparkeh can you post on the Leicestershire Technical Support Forum? EMF now queries the database on each load, rather than using cached data, and as such it runs slower.
sparkeh Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Sparkeh can you post on the Leicestershire Technical Support Forum? Done
SpuffMonkey Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Yes - its been diabolical for the last couple of weeks - shame - as it had become quite usable
Edu-IT Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Can you post also SpuffMonkey or let your LA rep know?
GrumbleDook Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Just spotted this thread ... meeting with folk tomorrow and I will also raise it there too. @spuffmonkey can you give me a call please?
Edu-IT Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Thanks Tony! It really is starting to grate. I can be sat here minutes sometimes waiting for the list to load.
GrumbleDook Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) It is with 3rd line and WebRoot, so it is being investigated but if you are having an issue still log a call. If I have any updates I'll let folk know. Edited September 14, 2010 by GrumbleDook Spelling
Edu-IT Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 I've got a call logged for it but it was closed out as there's nothing more the front line can do. Thanks Tony.
GrumbleDook Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Ok folks ... if you are having a problem with EMF (whether it is slow performance, errors with emails, etc) PLEASE put in a support call ... not just Northants folk but other LAs too. They need more examples of incidents to pin down issues.
