sophos enterpise console install

I have been trying to install enterprise console on a 2003 r2 x86 server (have done others with no problems) but this server everytime i run the installer it just wants a reboot. Removed the old sophos 3.0 (and that wont even reinstall same issue). Installed all the pre requisites manually. Fully updated (minus ie8) from windows update.

 

Any ideas as its the sites only server and atm the only solution i can think of is installing virtual server 2005 but i really dont have the spare disk space. Cant call sophos as lea who provide the softwaare will not give out the number and they are of no use ever
