Server disk space monitoring/log?

Hi

 

I have just joined my local council as an IT Technician Apprentice. At the moment we are logging our service disk space manually by this I mean logging on to each server separately and then logging the free space in a spreadsheet. We have about 30 servers that we log the space on so as you can guess this is fairly time consuming.

 

I know there are bits of software that will do this for you.

 

So my question to you guys is that is there a free piece of software that will meet the security, ect requirements of a council?
