6Foot2 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 This seems like a strange one to me. Opening a spreadsheet does not display any data in the spreadsheet nor does it display any grid lines [horizontal or vertical] I have been able to verify that there is data in the spreadsheets by changing Excel's mode to full screen when the data is displayed as expected [however teachers do not accept this even as an interim solution while I try to find an answer so the pressure is on] It is happening to students and staff, to newly re-imaged workstations and stations with much older images. I am now guessing that it may be a Windows Update issue. Has anyone else seen this or cured it? Please? Thanks.
leco Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Not come across this no. I guess you've checked that grid lines is switched on and that text is not white? Do any of the formulas or numbers show in the formula bar?
LSUfan Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Try this: In IE8 / Tools / Internet Options / Connections / LAN settings / Automatic configuration - uncheck Automatically detect settings.
