Partition Size Prblem

Hi, I wonder if anyone can explain the following. Our newly installed Server 2008 has a 25Gb partition system drive with only 1.5Gb free. The total size of all the files on the C: drive using Select all and properties is 14.7Gb; where's the other 9Gb gone? Any advice much appreciated.

pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys? If you're not showing hidden/protected files then they won't be included in the size you're seeing.

 

JDiskReport (JDiskReport) is one of many programs that will tell you where your disc space has gone.

Thanks very much for putting me on the right track. I've moved the page file over to E: and we've a healthy 5Gb free. That'll do for now. Cheers
