Which laptop?

Hi all

 

My younger brother is off to University in months time and is looking to buy a laptop. Looking to spend £400 at the absolute most, less if possible. He will only be using it for general Uni work (word processing/spreadsheets/presentations/etc) as well as a little bit of iPlayer and the usual Facebook etc, so it doesn't need to be incredibly powerful.

 

Any recommendations you have would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply - I'm a little bit weary of going with Toshiba though as the only one I had was the biggest pile of rubbish ever. I know I most likely had a bad one, but it tends to put you off doesn't it! Will check this one out though.

I personally have been selling toshiba's for a few years and have found them to have the lowestest return rate of laptop to date , my advise steer clear of Acer Or Dell
