Daughter started back to school today. I'm back tomorrow, though despite my term-time plus 2 weeks contract, I feel like I've been in most of the holiday (paid!) sorting out the new server, etc. Son starts back on Monday (boo!)

 

So I make that 32 working days until Half Term for me! Glad I worked that out... it makes me feel a lot better!!

Half term? TOO FAR AWAY

Walked in today - training day - not even supposed to be here, and....

get told that NONE of the staff laptops have been able to access their docs since the last week of term. So no one has done any work..

And it apparently is ALL MY FAULT

 

Surely they should have mentioned it during the last week of term? Hence.... THEIR fault!

My best story so far (its 9:23 on an inset day) is the teacher that wants me to transfer their docs from their old laptop to the new one I set up during the hols. I said certainly - that's why the head's agreed to pay me to come in today - can I have your old one please?

 

I'll give everyone 2 guesses as to their answer but your only going to need 1
