Script needed to Share Multiple Folders

Hi

 

I've got a number of user folders (in one folder) and I need to share these out. Security permissions are set for only the owner to be able to access them.

 

What I'd like to do is make sure the share is also hidden. Has anyone got a script that will do this for me please?

Simply share the top level folder ending the share name with a $. That hides the share.

Name the subfolders something usefull like the users username. For each user then simple add a line to their login script to map a drive to the folder.

 

e.g.

net use x: \\servername\sharename$\%username%
