Calling any Citrix gurus...

We're running Citrix and sme thin clients here and was wondering if anyone knew how to (or even if it were possible to) hide the domain drop down on the login screen?

Our school is changing its name - so we'd like to hide the old domain name (even though its still active in the background) - we've done the windows login without a hassle - but would appreciate any pointers you have for this bit.

Cheers

Are we talking about 2003 servers here? You would do it the same way with these as you would with XP clients. 2008 and 2008R2 obviously don't have a drop down as they are Vista and Win7 based.

Hi Ric - yes its all 2003 based - I was under the impression that there was a "special" citrix GINA for login - though it'd be great if there weren't.

AFAIK the actual login GINA is the same... XenApp then intervenes after authentication to work its magic. Have you tried doing whatever you did on XP?

Citrix does install a Citrix specific gina as far as I know, ctxgina.dll, although it only handles anything Citrix specific. Anything else is passed to the regular gina, so I would guess that however the domain is hidden on a normal 2003/XP box would work (I've never tried so cant confirm).
