e_g_r Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 When pupils login and use MS Office they do not get the full complement of clip art images. When staff log in they can see them all. OK its a permissions thing i suppose but what permissions? In GP i block their access to the c: drive. Any ideas?
ChrisH Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 We block access to the C: drive and they dont have any trouble accesing local clip art. I tent to point them towards online clip art as well though.
Jonesminor Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 What version of Office? Do staff use the same method of accessing the Internet as the students? Office connects to online clipart and does so anonymously. We had a similar problem and had to create firewall rules for unauthenticated access to the office websites involved. Cheers, -- JB
e_g_r Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 Office 2003 Its not the web based ones i want to access because we turn the internet off for quite a few lessons. Its the clipart that is available on the local machine.
SpuffMonkey Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Theres hardly any clipart stored locally with 2003
