CPP Phonesafe are an absolute Joke!

If you have phone insurance with CPP Phonesafe, change it this instance!!! They don't pay out for claims, they are rude and patronising, their terms and conditions are so contradicting that they probably have only a 5% pay out rate. I hadn't had my iphone 3GS for 21 days before I made a claim for it being stolen - when was I told this, was this in my terms and conditions booklet? No, but apparantley I was told this which I wasn't and there is nothing I can do. Any suggestions?

standard terms and conditions of all insurers, no payouts within 28 days of taking out insurance....i believe that it is a legal requirement to "help prevent" insurance fraud.

You could appeal to the Financial Ombudsman: Financial Ombudsman Service

 

Or if its still within 28 days you signed up you might be able to get your insurance money back as you might still be in the cooling off period.
