buy a domain name when it expires

There is domain name i would like. Is there a way to setup something where the domain name is automatically snapped up my me when it isnt renew?

You will pay for the pleasure if you want to let someone else 'manage' it for you.

In short, if it expires on the 1st of August, it doesn't really become available to you to register on the 1st of August.
